You can engage in your child’s learning at home and school in many ways. The school council provides advice on school matters and helps to strengthen the important relationship between schools, families and their communities. The council includes family members, school staff and community members.
W. J. Watson Public School's School Council is actively involved in supporting student achievement through the school plan for continuous improvement.
School council meets on a monthly basis. Parents and community members are invited and welcome to attend the monthly meetings in the school library, to join one of the many sub-committees, or to send comments and suggestions at any time. Communicating with Parents and the Community occurs regularly through the weekly school E-Bulletin.
